I am Sanmi, a self-taught photographer & Berlin native with a passion for cinematic visuals & storytelling.

I have picked up my first camera back in March 2018 with the aim to capture moments rather than places.

Since then, I became very passionate about the art of photography as it allows me to archive the reality & to rediscover the ordinary.

I constantly work on my skillset for both, execution & post-processing as I strongly believe in the process of growth.

An essential part of my creative process is that I am intentionally not yet limiting myself by choosing a particular niche.

I’m allowing myself to experiment with various genres to reach my ultimate goal of becoming independent from the environment I am shooting in.
